'Try This Thurdays'- Rose Petal Ice Cubes

Looking for simple way to add the "wow" factor to your party? Try adding rose petals to your ice cubes! Use them in an ice bucket to cool your drinks or display them in a pretty bowl surrounded by rose petals. If you want to serve them in your drinks, make sure they are absolutely chemical/pesticide free.

Here's what you'll need:

Rose petals
Ice cube tray(s)
water

1 Gather and gently rinse rose petals.

2.Boil water for 2 minutes to allow any air trapped inside of the water to escape. Let the water cool until room temperature. This ensures that the cubes are crystal-clear.

3. Place petals at the base of each individual compartment within an ice tray (or more trays if you have a large party).

4. Fill each compartment half full with the cooled boiled water and freeze.

5. After the water is frozen solid, fill each ice cube compartment the rest of the way to the top with the remaining boiled water.

6. Refreeze and allow them to remain in the freezer until you are ready to use them.

Voila!! Enjoy!
