The color yellow just seems to brighten the atmosphere instantly, doesn't it? And being that yellow reminds me of sunny days (I'm a kid at heart!), I named this theme 'Sunshine Shower'.
For invites I went with these diaper-shaped cuties; the ribbon adds a sweet feel to them.
The table-setting could consist of simple white tablecloths with yellow napkin-rings and a yellow flower bouquet. You could also go with yellow gingham linen napkins and a citrus bouquet for a surprising twist. A few candles here and there will add a nice touch as well.
For the menu, go with a a light lunch such as angel hair pasta with grilled chicken alongside a serving of mixed baby greens. For dessert, consider a scrumptuos lemon cheesecake, and serving lemon martini's might be helpful in keeping the tone light and fun!
For favors, unique soaps in a gift bag tied with a cute bow or even favor boxes are sure to be a crowd-pleaser. Voila! Your 'Sunshine Shower' is served!
